Gathered together and working as a whole, all the members from Silver Tech Global, MedexOne Global, Silverlake MasterSAM and Silverlake Sheaf showed an exceptional level of cooperation at Bukit Tinggi.

Each team was tasked with series of challenges, both collaborative and competitive to prove that they were a team that can overcome all the odds when they put their minds to it. “The LRT Amazing Race”, is a non-stop continuous flow of activities that involved taking LRT, planning out a route, setting up a strategy and collaborating with other team.

Each team are “Racing” from one challenge task to another challenge and the team’s mission is complete as many tasks as they can in given frame.

8 teams of participants from Time Offset have strived to score as many points as possible and they learnt the key elements to work as a team are teamwork, communication, advance planning and change management.

A team of adventure enthusiast decided to advance their rock climbing skill and correct belaying technique by taking the SEACF Sport climbing course level 1.

The Purpose of this course is to give participants an enjoyable, safe and informative introduction to sport climbing. The course is designed for people with no prior knowledge of sport climbing. Participants will be introduced …to: equipment techniques, checking procedures, belaying for top-roping and climbing calls.

“Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.” Call center staffs from Shangri-La Hotels have proved that “Nothing is Impossible” in today’s team building workshop.

During the team building workshop, they share their experiences, they work hard to achieve the goal, they brainstormed on how to get thing done better, they laughed at each other, and they learnt to be stronger person and to be stronger team!

Highlight of the day was the “Car Building”. Team are asked build a PVC car from PVC pipe and other building parts. The challenges are not only on building a 4 wheel car, but a car can move right and left and has to compete against each other in a less than straight course (remember the race cars do not have motors and manoeuvrability will depend on the skill of team driver and “pushers” as well as construction of vehicle).

But, they made it happen!

There are numerous role in a team including the role of leader and follower. All these roles should be rotated in regular basis to ensure them builds strengths among each other. Assignment of role should be based on skill, experience and commitment, not solely on seniority.

36 young, smart and vibrant participants from Jurutera Perunding Primareka have participated in 3 days 2 nights team building program at Cherating. Participants are engaged with variety of activities and they learnt different personalities and skill of their peers through practical activities and debrief session after each activity.
