The PVC Car Building Challenge is designed as an integrated, end-to-end simulation that develops Leadership Competencies through a progressive four-phase system: design, build, transfer of ownership, and live execution. Each phase introduces increasing complexity, interdependency, and real-time uncertainty, requiring participants to continuously shift from functional thinking to system-level strategic thinking, fully aligned with TSRC’s Big Picture Orientation competency framework.

Jay Team Leads a 150-pax team-building program last week reminded me that no great event is ever accomplished alone.
What made the program special was that participants were reshuffled for every challenge, encouraging them to build new connections and collaborate with different teammates. From a digital Amazing Race in Jonker Street and Morning Dodge Ball to a rollercoaster project and the final Penguin Challenge, every activity reinforced the power of teamwork and working towards one shared goal.

A productive team-building day at OneCloud Technology Solutions’s sports lounge.

We went through a cycle of activities and debriefs—activity, then reflection, then activity again, followed by more debriefing. Along the way, we also had meaningful conversations about individual personalities, team dynamics, and collaboration styles.

By the end of the session, the team broke the record in Jay team building history for the rollercoaster challenge. Both teams achieved more than 10 seconds together, which signifies their commitment and the changes they want to make as a team.

Cool weather, great energy, and meaningful connections—this 2-day team-building programme created space for teams to bond deeply and collaborate better. The experience was further strengthened with DISC profiling, helping team members understand one another’s styles, preferences, and ways of working.

Participants navigated the river with focus and coordination, learning while having fun—even under the hot sun.

This time in Port Dickson, the team took on tough beach challenges and energising outdoor games before wrapping up the day with an intimate annual dinner hosted by Jay Team Building.
